Practice Type: Dispensing

The practice ethos has always been to provide continuity of care and a holistic, individualised approach to patient management. This can be difficult at times due to appointment pressure but we work hard to accommodate patient needs to the best of our ability.
The Team
Castle Gate is proud to be a practice which provides lots of different services, we therefore have a diverse body of clinicians to support these.
When you make an appointment, the receptionist will direct you to the best person to care for your needs:
Health Care Assistants take blood, perform diabetic foot checks and ECGs.
Nurses provide treatment room care including changing dressings and providing vaccinations as well as running chronic disease clinics.
Advanced Nurse Practitioners manage acute presentations as well as chronic disease management, they can also prescribe.
A Physicians Associate is someone who is medically trained to investigate, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic clinical problems in both adults and children. They are also able to make onward referrals to hospital-based clinics.
Castle Gate is a training practice, meaning we have GP Registrars working alongside us. GP registrars are fully qualified doctors who have completed their training in hospital and have chosen to work as GPs.
All our team have full support and guidance from the Partners.
